Public radio, supporting the public

CD102.5 for the Kids was established 26 years ago by beloved CD102.5 DJ, Andyman. Known for his big personality and bigger heart, Andyman made it his mission to ensure that CD102.5 played an active role in the community. His love for children compelled the creation of CD102.5 for the Kids, a 501-C3 charity with the mission to help fund various children’s charities and organizations that benefit the children in our community. After Andyman’s unexpected passing in 2010, CD102.5 for the Kids has continued to honor his legacy by raising money for the children of central Ohio and beyond with Thon. Every December, CD102.5 goes live for 48 hours straight accepting donations on behalf of CD102.5 for the Kids in exchange for song requests. In conjunction with the live donation drive, CD102.5 for the Kids opens an eBay store where people can bid on autographed merchandise from their favorite CD102.5 artists. Proceeds from both go to various children’s charities and organizations throughout the community.
